Not everyone should use their blow dryer or flat iron on the highest setting. The highest settings are reserved for those with the thickest and coarsest hair. The thinnest/finest hair should use the lowest setting. Chances are, you’re somewhere in the middle of that spectrum, so set your tools accordingly. Too hot can severely damage your locks.
